365 Day Challenge!!

I have decided in order to get myself photographing more and in abundance and to get me more inspired I will take the 365 day challenge!

I will take at least one picture a day. Most will be bad, some might be ok, and a very few might hopefully be good.

Since I'm starting in February expect near daily updates here until the end of next January!!

Here are my pictures from the last two days. The hardest part for me of this challenge will be actually scanning any of my instant pictures or prints. I took the lazy way this time and used my camera:

First, the sun setting over the park. There was a stadium and big field beneath the skyline of trees.

It's hard to tell but this is a picture of a little tunnel you walk through to get to the Polo Fields near my house.

Through the next 365 days I hope to learn a lot, grow a lot, and hopefully photograph a lot!

I'm back!

So, I've neglected this blog far too long!

In my hiatus I've taken just about half a million pictures. I haven't scanned one. But I plan too!!

And while I know it's definitely not the same, and it's kind of douchey digital sell out of me, I figure I'll start posting from my phone. It's not optimal, but then at least I'll be able to post more often.

Mini-Hiatus

To have a full-time hobby grew to be much more expensive than I originally planned. And my money supply is much more limited than I wish it would be.

So, what with the costs of film, processing, printing (myself or having it done), and/or Polaroid film I've slowed down somewhat.

I think I have a handful of Polaroids that I should probably scan and share. Hopefully I'll get around to it eventually.

Until then, I'm still on the lookout for a light-weight 35mm camera that has a look that inspires me (picture taking look, not just physical look) so I can take more pictures for cheaper with a much faster process time. 120 film was wearin' me down.

So, until my next scan, stay tuned and we'll see how this all develops.
